How to play

Three steps, one minute a run

  1. Look

A pattern of bricks appears on the baseplate for a few seconds. Remember where each color goes.

  2. Rebuild

The plate clears. Pick a color and tap the studs where those bricks were, before the timer bar runs out.

  3. Keep the streak

Every finished build adds 1 to your streak and the next one gets harder. One wrong tap or running out of time ends the run.

Why it's fun

Easy to start, hard to put down

Quick runs

A run takes about a minute, so it fits in a coffee break, a bus ride or the gap between meetings.

It keeps getting harder

The baseplate grows from 3×3 to 6×6, more colors join in, and you get less time per brick as your streak climbs.

Climb the leaderboard

Sign in and every run counts toward the daily, weekly and all-time boards. Then post your result to X, Bluesky, WhatsApp or Reddit and dare your friends to beat it.

Practice your visual memory

Each build asks you to hold positions and colors in your head at the same time, then recall them under a little time pressure.

Difficulty

How each run ramps up

Each baseplate size is a long stretch of builds, so you can settle in before the next jump. Bricks are added gradually, and the rebuild timer gives you slightly less time per brick as your streak grows.

FAQ

Questions people ask

Is Studle free?

Yes. Studle is free to play in your browser, with no account and no download.

Does Studle work on phones?

Yes. It works in any modern browser on phones, tablets and computers. On a phone you tap the studs; on a computer you can click, and press 1–5 to pick colors.

How does the streak work?

Every build you finish adds 1 to your streak. A wrong tap, or running out of time before the build is complete, ends the run.

How long do I get to memorize and rebuild?

Study time is 1.5 seconds plus 0.35 seconds per brick, up to 8 seconds. Rebuild time is 2.5 seconds plus about 1 second per brick at the start, and the time per brick shrinks as your streak grows.

Is there a leaderboard?

Yes. Create a free account and every run you finish counts toward the daily, weekly and all-time leaderboards. You can play without an account too.

Is my best streak saved?

Your best streak and recent runs are saved in your browser on that device. With an account, your scores are also saved to the leaderboard and follow you to any device.

I found a bug or have an idea. Where do I send it?

Use the contact page. Every message gets read.

Think you can beat 10 in a row?

One wrong tap ends it, so every build counts. See how far your first run gets.
